Annual Meeting: Alderman, Ash Borer, and Board Elections The annual membership meeting of the Ravenswood Manor Improvement Association (RMIA) will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 22nd, at 7:30 p.m. in the basement assembly room of the Horner Park Fieldhouse, 2741 W. Montrose Ave. This will be the RMIA’s 105th annual membership meeting, dating back to the organization’s founding in 1914. Ravenswood Manor straddles two different Chicago Police Department beats in the 17th district: Beat 1713 and Beat 1724. The 17th District conducts Beat meetings for the CAPS program (Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy) each month. The CAPS meetings for 1713 and 1724 were recently combined so attendance at two meetings is no longer required in order to stay up to date on neighborhood safety. Please attend if you're interested in learning more about safety and policing issues in the neighborhood.

CANCELED: RMIA Independence Day Bike Parade Saturday June 27th 10a Buffalo Park to Ravenswood Manor Park Children ride their decorated bicycles, trikes, and other vehicles (wagons etc.) three blocks accompanied by a Chicago Fire Department engine, along a closed-off Manor Avenue, ending at Manor Park.
