Celebrate River Day by volunteering @ Horner or Jacobs Playlot Parks — anytime from 9 a.m. — noon on May 13.
–Horner Park: MANY volunteers needed to spread 15 yards of mulch along the river path at Horner Park. This is the most they have ever put down at once, but it needs it. If you can volunteer at all, you will be helping tremendously!
–Jacob Playlot Park (Virginia & Leland): Help with river clean-up work. This will be at the river bank, outside the playground area. Wear boots and gloves for this work.
