Support

Show your Manor pride and support the work of your neighborhood organization!

Ravenswood Manor is a strong community due to the ongoing effort and support of residents and their association. Since the neighborhood’s founding in 1914, thousands of Manor residents have joined as RMIA members and also volunteered their time to work together to do just what the our name suggests: to improve our neighborhood.

Volunteer
Get involved in events and help build our strong sense of community– there are lots of ways your skills can complement the mix. Volunteering is a good way to engage with neighbors you know and one’s you will get to know, you can see your own ideas come to fruition, and you can be part of what makes our neighborhood great: a true sense of community.

  • Event volunteers plan and put on annual events or events that excite you.
  • Communications volunteers help keep neighbors informed of goings on in and around the community, including Facebook posts, email updates, and website development.
  • Block captains are needed to help with delivery of the quarterly printed newsletter.
  • The Board of Directors meets monthly; directors are members of RMIA, residents of Ravenswood Manor, and volunteer their time to improve our neighborhood.

To volunteer, or find out more about a particular position, send and email to the RMIA president: president<at>ravenswoodmanor.com
